Merchant onboarding for FRENT POS

Connect the receiving wallet, configure Base or Polygon and deploy the merchant terminal required before taking payments.

Updated

Before you begin

Choose the wallet that should receive the merchant share of every payment. That address becomes an immutable setting of each terminal contract. Keep enough of the network's native currency available for deployment gas: ETH on Base or POL on Polygon.

Set up the POS

  1. Open FRENT POS and connect the receiving wallet.
  2. Choose Base, Polygon, or configure each network separately.
  3. Review the network, native USDC contract, FRENT fee wallet and fixed fee shown before deployment.
  4. Approve the terminal deployment in the connected wallet.
  5. Wait while FRENT verifies the factory transaction and immutable contract settings.

The terminal becomes active only after that verification succeeds. A separate terminal is required for each network.

Complete the merchant profile

After a terminal is active, add an optional company name and public URL slug. You can enable the public payment form and download its counter QR. These settings change how the payment page is presented; they do not change the immutable receiving wallet in an existing contract.

Take the first payment

Enter an amount and optional description, payable-to label and reference. FRENT creates an exact six-decimal USDC request and opens its QR checkout. See Creating a payment request for the full flow.

Article FAQ

Common questions.

Can the receiving wallet be changed after deployment?

No. The merchant wallet is immutable in that terminal contract. Deploy from the wallet that should receive settlement.

Is one contract used for both networks?

No. Base and Polygon each require their own merchant terminal contract.

Need product support?

Bring the public details, never your keys.

Share the network, public wallet or terminal address, transaction hash and the displayed error. Never share a seed phrase or private key.
