FRENT POS supports Base mainnet for merchant terminal deployment, customer checkout and direct USDC settlement.
- Base chain ID 8453
- Native USDC contract
- Base explorer proof
Merchant setup
A separate terminal for the Base payment path.
The merchant deploys a Base terminal from the receiving wallet. FRENT verifies the configured factory and immutable terminal settings before activating checkout.
Customer payment
The payer uses USDC and ETH for gas.
The payer needs the supported USDC contract on Base and enough ETH for token approval and payment gas. FRENT does not bridge assets between networks.
Proof
Settlement remains inspectable.
A verified payment keeps its Base transaction hash and explorer link alongside the merchant payment record.
Predictable protocol fee
A fixed fee for each confirmed payment.
FRENT does not add a monthly subscription or percentage-based charge. Network gas is separate and varies by chain and network demand.
- Payments below $10
- $0.01 FRENT protocol fee
- Payments from $10
- $0.10 FRENT protocol fee
The merchant pays gas to deploy a terminal contract. The customer pays gas for token approval when needed and for the payment transaction.
