FAQ FAQ
What does FRENT POS accept?
FRENT POS accepts the configured native USDC contract on enabled Base and Polygon merchant terminals.
Does FRENT hold merchant funds?
No. The terminal contract sends the merchant share directly to the immutable merchant wallet in the customer transaction.
How does QR checkout work?
A QR opens the signed checkout or merchant payment page. The customer reviews the amount and network, then confirms through a compatible wallet.
Who pays gas?
The merchant pays deployment gas. The customer pays gas for any token approval and the payment transaction.
How does FRENT confirm a payment?
FRENT checks the confirmed transaction and event against the expected contract, payment ID, payer, merchant and exact USDC amount.
Can FRENT reverse a payment?
No. Confirmed onchain transfers are not reversible by FRENT. Merchants need their own refund policy and process.
Does FRENT convert USDC to fiat?
No. FRENT does not provide exchange, banking or fiat settlement services.
Is a public payment API available?
No general public REST payment API is currently offered. The current product provides hosted merchant, checkout and public payment flows.
Do customers need a FRENT account?
No account or email is required for the customer payment flow. The customer uses a compatible wallet.
