Merchant setup
A dedicated Polygon terminal contract.
The merchant enables Polygon and deploys its terminal from the receiving wallet. FRENT checks the terminal against the configured factory before it can accept requests.
Customer payment
The payer uses USDC and POL for gas.
The payer needs the supported native USDC contract on Polygon PoS and enough POL for token approval and payment gas. Bridged or arbitrary tokens are not accepted as payment proof.
Proof
Verify the result on Polygon.
A confirmed payment retains its transaction hash and Polygon explorer link in the FRENT payment record.
Predictable protocol fee
A fixed fee for each confirmed payment.
FRENT does not add a monthly subscription or percentage-based charge. Network gas is separate and varies by chain and network demand.

Which Polygon network does the public POS use?
Production checkout uses Polygon PoS mainnet, chain ID 137. Polygon Amoy is reserved for explicitly enabled local or test operation.
Which token pays Polygon gas?
The payer needs POL for network gas in addition to the supported USDC payment amount.
Does FRENT accept bridged USDC variants?
FRENT verifies the configured native USDC contract for the Polygon terminal. Other tokens are not accepted as proof for that request.
