Give shoppers a FRENT payment method inside the checkout they already know. Orders are completed only after FRENT verifies the onchain payment and sends a signed webhook.
WordPress 6.5+ · WooCommerce · PHP 7.4+ · GPLv2 or later- Classic and block checkout
- HPOS compatible
- Base and Polygon support
- Signed order updates
What it does
A complete path from checkout to confirmation.
Native checkout choice
Customers select FRENT alongside your other WooCommerce payment methods and continue to a focused hosted checkout.
Existing order workflow
FRENT payments stay attached to the WooCommerce order, including notes and final payment state.
Verified completion
A browser return cannot mark an order paid. The plugin verifies the webhook signature, payment ID, amount, and currency first.
Modern WooCommerce support
The gateway supports Checkout Blocks, classic checkout, HPOS, retries, and idempotent payment creation.

Interface previews are added as each release is verified.

- 02
Install the gateway
Activate WooCommerce, then find and install FRENT Payments for WooCommerce through Plugins > Add New in WordPress.
- 03
Exchange credentials
Copy the WooCommerce webhook URL into FRENT, register the exact shop origin, and place the generated API key and signing secret in gateway settings.
- 04
Enable and test
Choose automatic, Base, or Polygon routing, enable the method, and complete a low-value test order.

Before installation
Common questions.
Do I need contracts on both networks?
No. One active merchant contract on Base or Polygon is enough. Connecting both gives customers and your store more routing choice.
Does WordPress need my wallet private key?
Never. WordPress uses a restricted merchant API key and webhook signing secret. Your seed phrase and private key remain outside WordPress and FRENT.
Can the return page mark an order as paid?
No. The browser status is informational. Only a correctly signed webhook matching the stored order and payment can complete it.
